Quality is paramount to us. Robust systems, clear specifications and regular checks protect every batch, from intake through to maturation and packing. Supported by continuous improvement and technical expertise, we deliver the consistency, safety and confidence that partners expect.
Our member farms are regularly audited in line with Red Tractor requirements, supporting high standards of assurance from farm to creamery. It is an important part of how we protect quality, traceability and confidence across our supply chain.
Our site operates to BRC Global Standards, supporting robust food safety and quality management. For partners, it provides confidence that our systems, processes and controls are designed to meet demanding requirements
and stand up to audit.
Green Dragon Level 4 recognises our environmental management systems and our commitment to reducing impact. At SCC, protecting the environment is a shared responsibility, with everyone focused on controlling, improving and reducing our environmental footprint through day-to-day actions.
Awards are an independent recognition of quality. The majority are only based upon taste so it is an independent accreditation of quality. Over the years, we have consistently featured in the ‘Winners Enclosure’ for award-winning cheese and butter at a number of major cheese awards: Nantwich International Cheese Awards, British Cheese Awards, World Cheese Awards, Global Cheese Awards.
We have also been recognised at other high profile events across the UK such as the Royal Welsh Show, Cheshire Show, Great Yorkshire Show, Mid Somerset Show, Royal Highland Show and Devon Show.
